All club members in good standing, who have been oriented to alarm and entry procedures, may have access to the club stations, equipment and storage facilities with the following exceptions:

New members are restricted access to the club stations, equipment and storage facilities until they have been an active member of the club for 365 days OR they are accompanied at all times by a club member that has been active in the club for more than 365 days.

“For the purposes of this Standard Operating Procedure, “active” is defined as a member who has participated in 6 club events. Events include monthly general meetings, contests, work parties for club projects and club sanctioned community events. Attending multiple-day events will count for 1 event.”

A new member may apply in writing to the Executive for an exemption to have access prior to 365 days if they have participated in 6 events as describe above. The applicant is responsible to include details and dates of the 6 events in their application for exemption.

Non-members are only allowed access to club stations for club sanctioned events and maintenance OR, up to 3 non- members may enter under the supervision of a club member who is directly responsible for their conduct.
