DESCRIPTION

  • The Dilworth repeater is located at the top of Dilworth Mountain near the geographic center of the City of Kelowna. It consists of the primary repeater with no link radios or other devices attached. It has battery backup to cover short power outages.

TECHNICAL

  • The repeater is a Kenwood model TKR-750 operating on a frequency of 146.680 with offset -600. Tone squelch 88.5. The controller is a Link Communications RLC-4.

USAGE

  • Primarily a local chat repeater.
  • During times of emergency, this becomes the dedicated repeater for the Emergency Operations Center.
